Abstract:
Today there is a wide range of applications of digital technologies in the art of music, science and pedagogy - in the work of a composer, ethnomusicologist, musician-teacher, musician-performer. Digital technologies are rapidly evolving, and a new generation of musicians must master them for a successful start in their professional life. The main goal of this article is to analyze modern digital technologies that can be applied in the classroom with students of a music institute to activate their creativity. The main research method was the analysis of the practical work of students of the Kazan State Institute of Culture in the classroom "Musical Informatics". The computer programs Sibelius, Cubase were used for composing music and processing folk songs, as well as for arranging and transcribing famous melodies. We analyzed the creative results of students with different levels of musical training when working in the above programs using MIDI and VST technologies. The main criteria for evaluating students' musical works were knowledge of the basics of music theory, harmony, instruments of a symphony orchestra. As a result of the research, we came to the conclusion that the computer programs Sibelius, Cubase, despite the complexity of their interfaces, significantly activate the creative potential of music students, improve the quality of mastering musical theory and harmony, and develop timbre hearing. Another important factor in the need for students to master these programs is their widespread use in studio work, in research and pedagogical projects, so the early development of digital music technologies is becoming an important part of professional training. Keywords:
