A DEVELOPMENT OF GAME AND SIMULATION ENHANCING CHINESE COMMUNICATION SKILL ON SMART PHONE FOR THE STUDENTS OF HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION

Abstract:
This research aimed:
1) to create the game and simulation enhancing Chinese communication skill of high school education students,
2) to evaluate the quality of game and simulation enhancing Chinese communication skill of high school education students,
3) to evaluate Chinese communication skill of high school education students who studied via game and simulation,
4) to study the learning achievement of high school education students who studied via game and simulation.
5) to evaluate the satisfaction of high school education students who studied via game and simulation.
The 16 samples were high school education students of Cha-um Khunying Nuangburi School who were studying English – Chinese program in the first semester of academic year 2015, derived from simple random sampling. The research findings were that game and simulation gained the quality on content at the level of “good” (x̄ = 4.20 S.D. = 0.42), and the quality on media was at the level of “good” (x̄ = 4.40 S.D. = 0.24). The Chinese communication skill was at he level of “very good” ” (x̄ = 4.55 S.D. = 0.33). The learning achievement score of posttest was significantly higher than the pretest score at the level of .05. The satisfaction of the high school education students to game and simulation was at the level of “most” (x̄ = 4.74 S.D. = 0.26). The research can be concluded that game and simulation on smart phone can enhance Chinese communication skill for the high school education students and really use for instruction. Keywords:
