Abstract:
With a history of success spanning over 22 years of operation, the Instituto Crescer Movimento Cidadania e Juventude initiated a new and promising collaboration in 2025: the strategic partnership with the Centro Universitário Leonardo da Vinci – UNIASSELVI.
This partnership drastically increased the service capacity of the Instituto Crescer, accommodating approximately 1.000 new participants per year.
The partnership with UNIASSELVI is consolidating itself as a strategic pillar due to its ability to replicate and expand the positive results already achieved, focusing on converting vulnerability into a concrete opportunity for the future for adolescents aged 14 to 18 who are primarily in situations of social risk and vulnerability.
The partnership secured the stimulus for citizen education, the development of youth leadership, and professional qualification with a focus on the 4.0 Economy.
The projects and programs developed aimed to qualify young people and adolescents for the world of work and for life, through the development of essential skills and competencies. The professional guidance workshops utilized innovative and creative methodologies, aiming to provide participants with the necessary support and favorable conditions for integral development as citizens, as well as for professional qualification.
The teaching and learning process is youth-centered, being adapted to the demands of a world undergoing constant and rapid transformation. This approach aims to favor the development of autonomy and creativity through activities that stimulate youth leadership. This fosters the construction of knowledge that goes beyond the mere accumulation of information, focusing on the holistic development and empowerment of participants to become active protagonists in building their own careers.
The projects base their theoretical and practical activities on the triad: Complexity, Transdisciplinarity, and Eco-formation, premises of the International Network of Creative Schools (RIEC), of which the Instituto Crescer has been a member since 2019.
The young participants follow a learning track structured based on the following knowledge areas: Oral and Written Communication, The World of Work, Technologies, and Professional Development and Employability.
The new partnership with UNIASSELVI enabled the transformation of the students’s reality due to the expansion of horizons and the breaking of the poverty cycle, ensuring continuous access to the university's spaces, such as classrooms and laboratories. It allowed young people to concretely envision the possibilities of continued education and access to higher education, effectively breaking with the cycle of social exclusion and poverty and boosting the development of their Life Project. The partnership also enabled access to technological training and the enhancement of skills in Technologies, preparing young people for the demands of the 4.0 Economy, including digital fluency and remote work.
With this new strategic partnership, the Instituto Crescer reaffirms its commitment to utilizing the power of education, combined with transdisciplinary support, to promote formal inclusion in the world of work and the full restoration of citizenship for one thousand new young people each year. Keywords:
