Abstract:
The Capacitar Project: Development of skills for access to the world of work, developed by the Instituto Crescer Movimento Cidadania e Juventude in partnership with the company Allog Group, was carried out between February and December 2023, and trained 60 young people aged between 14 and 17 years old, elementary and high school students, residing in the municipality of Itajaí, Santa Catarina - Brazil. Instituto Crescer is a non-profit institution that completed 20 years of operation in 2023, developing work dedicated to the comprehensive training and professional qualification of adolescents and young people to enable their inclusion in the World of Work and provide an improvement in the quality of their lives and those of their families. Instituto Crescer's actions are based on the National Policy for the Protection of Children and Adolescents, aiming to promote initiatives towards youth with a focus on the implementation of public policies, to intervene and encourage innovative actions to promote, protect and defend the target audience.

The theoretical and practical activities developed in this project followed the guiding methodologies that are based on the triad formed by Complexity Theory, Transdisciplinarity and Ecotraining, assumptions of the International Network of Creative Schools (RIEC) of which the institution has been part since 2016. The objective is to promote the development of autonomy, critical and creative reflection among young people and, consequently, their role in training and professional qualifications for access to the world of work. The activities developed covered four Axes of Knowledge: Oral and Written Communication, World of Work, Ethics and Citizenship and English Language, developed through the Life Project. During the project, it was possible to create engaging learning environments that would enable young people to develop essential skills for accessing the world of work in the 21st century, promoting creativity, innovation and critical thinking. Through this process, several transdisciplinary activities were developed, integrating knowledge, skills and concepts from different disciplines or areas of knowledge to address complex problems, global issues and real-world challenges, such as structuring a personalized curriculum, innovative pedagogical approaches, stimulating creativity, collaboration and teamwork, the development of socio-emotional skills and formative assessment.

The partnership between Instituto Crescer and the company Allog Group began in 2021. Through the partnership, professional qualification projects aimed at teenagers are developed. In 2023, the partnership completed three years, and during this period three projects were carried out that have already served more than 160 (one hundred and sixty) teenagers aged between 14 and 18, students from public schools or private education scholarship holders, since the 7th year of Elementary School to 3rd year of High School. The young people have an average per capita income of 1.5 minimum wage, all residents of the municipality of Itajaí, Santa Catarina/Brazil.
