Abstract:
E-Learning and web-based applications have been and are very popular by allowing users to access internet information directly from their personal computer.

M-Learning or Mobile E-Learning allows to access the information on the Internet via mobile devices. In M-Learning, courses and platforms are customized for each user.

In this paper we present the process of the student evaluation through mobile devices. This evaluation presents a lot of advantages and improves the process in the education environment.

Students make more and more use of the mobile devices that can be useful in evaluation process not only for games or entertainment. Using student appraisals through mobile devices, evaluations are done through multiple or single-choice questions and students receive the result immediately after the test.

The concept of M-Evaluation is introduced and supposes that all the evaluation process is made through the mobile devices, without teacher's or any other person's intervention.

A study case of using Socrative platform for evaluation of the students is presented. An analysis of the students' responses is made and presented in the paper. Socrative platform can be used on web, on Android devices and also on iOS devices.
