Abstract:
As the ability for global learning in real-time continues to become common for knowledge - based education. The Columbia Coaching Certification Program at Teachers College, Columbia University continues to innovate synchronous methodologies to expand the programs global e-learning model.
Now entering its third year, the program continues to attend to the daily operations for stable continent-to-continent Internet connectivity, while maintaining the dynamics of continental technology so that participants with ever-changing schedules can engage in the learning process successfully.
The initial goals of the program continue to be achieved with the ongoing challenges associated with facilitating and managing an international online delivery system that considers various forms of native culture identifiers and social factors.
This presentation reviews the progress of the program’s expansion outlining the logistical procedure and practical process required to determine effective connectivity issues based on local and country Internet protocols, techniques for synchronous simulcast using the latest web conference technologies, and determines the value for continued implementation. Including the operational factors associated with local culture and social requirements to maintain consistent learning pedagogy.
Concluding with the programs recent inclusion of neuroscience focusing on the theories of how native thinking styles can influence the way individuals connect e-learning between learning styles and worldview structures. Keywords:
