The Higher Technical School of Engineering and Industrial Design (ETSIDI) proposed the application of a methodology based on POL. Both undergraduates students of in the subjects of: Prototyping, Digitization and Design as Postgraduate students in the subjects of Prototyping and Scanning. All subjects were focused on obtaining a complete design of a machine 3D printing. All projects had to include aesthetic design of the casing of the printer.

During the course students were motivating increasingly working subjects many more hours than set by the curriculum, obtaining not only better ratings than in previous years, but the acquisition of skills (technical knowledge, skills and attitudes) identified in these subjects.
