INSTAGRAM AS A SOCIAL MEDIA TOOL TO LEARN SPANISH POETRY: AN EXPERIENCE WITH STUDENTS OF A LEVEL

Nowadays, Instagram is a social media tool that it has a powerful in the society. Everybody uses this digital resource to share experiences, photographs, and also, to exchange information and to commentate on the news of their friends. For all this reason, we consider that Instagram has a pedagogical role that contributes in the learning and teaching process of students. In this paperwork, we study and analyse a didactic experience in Spanish Language and Literature subject with a group of students of A levels. The educative project had the aim to learn the poetry of Jorge Manrique, and specifically, his four-line stanzas. In this case, students read one composition of the author, and then, they expressed the sense of the poem with a picture and a commentary through Instagram. To understand the study objective, we have used a qualitative methodology, and in particular, we have utilised the analyse data as a technique to gather information. Then, we have obtained the results that have explained the learning and teaching process, and also, the results of the experience. In conclusion, we will show the pedagogical potential of Instagram as an educational resource.
