Abstract:
One of the most important objectives in Spanish Language and Literature is the writing competence. However, students don’t develop this expression way because they are afraid to use it in a social context. For this reason, teachers have the aim to promote the writing skill in class through resources that increase the level of motivation of students. Nowadays, the information and communication technologies (ICT) have an important role in education. They offer us a variety of digital resources that contribute in the teaching and learning process. In this paperwork, we analyse and explain the App Google Drive as a tool to develop the writing competence of students. In this case, we use this resource to make a digital newspaper with a 3th year secondary group. In this sense, we have used the qualitative methodology to describe the teacher proposal and the results of the experience. In conclusion, we will emphasise the interactive, the communicative, the attractive and the educative role of Google Drive with students of Secondary Education to encourage the writing activity.
