Abstract:
The development of e-learning systems and tools for building interactive online learning, brought about by the COVID19 pandemic, has led to their increasing use for organizational knowledge management and for offering massive open online courses. Teams creating online training are increasingly experiencing a shortage of training content and digital resources with which to create their e-learning courses. The solution to this problem is getting closer with the development of artificial intelligence and mass access to such systems. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly impacted the field of online education by providing innovative solutions for creating digital resources.

This paper presents a comprehensive review of the current state-of-the-art in AI-powered technologies for the development of digital resources in the context of online trainings. Thе article analyzes the types of content that can be created by AI. Based on the defined types of content and the requirements for it, we have analyzed systems for generating expert textual content such as ChatGPT, for generating images according to set criteria such as DALL·E 2 and systems for generating Video characters and multilingual audio such as Synthesia and Speechelo.

Additionally, we explore the challenges faced by developers when creating these resources and the potential benefits that can be gained from the use of AI in this context. Within the framework of the analysis, the key functionalities of the considered solutions are shown. The main advantages of individual software solutions are outlined and an assessment is made to what extent AI-generated texts, images, videos and audio resources approach those created by humans. Their credibility and their suitability for building e-learning courses have been evaluated.

Our analysis indicates that the use of AI technologies in the creation of digital resources for online training offers numerous benefits, including increased efficiency, personalized learning experiences, and improved learner engagement. However, further research is needed to fully understand the potential of AI-powered digital resources and to address the challenges associated with their development and implementation.
