Abstract:
This article examines the socio-cultural phenomenon – «clip thinking» through the interconnection of technology and the educational process. The author reveals the notion of «clip thinking» through which information is consumed fragmentarily in a short, vivid message embodied in the form of video clip or television news. «Clip thinking» is considered as a process of reflecting a multitude of different objects, disregarding the connections between them, characterized by the complete heterogeneity of incoming information, the high speed of shifting between fragments of the information flow, the lack of the integrity of the perception of the surrounding world.

Reviewing ways to adapt the «clip culture» to educational technologies, through the structuring information in the form of clips, modifying the presentation format, using vivid, clear and visual presentations, which will enhance the learning process for young people who have «clip thinking».

It is concluded that «clip thinking» is a fundamentally new phenomenon, considered as a key component of the general information culture of the future, based on the transition from linear, consistent perception of information to the endless flickering of information segments that determines the choice of various educational technologies.
