Abstract:
Global digitalization of the country makes special requirements to the education process organization on all educational levels and primary school. In a pandemic condition, there was a considerable spike from traditional learning to blending one. Neither parents nor children were not ready for it. Besides, primary school teachers faced many problems. The lack of sufficient and necessary material foundation at school and home (computer, Internet, electronic platforms); failure of knowledge essential to work with primary school children online; lack of preparation of parents for joint activities with their children when learning a foreign language for blended learning; lack of students' and parents' positive motivation; technical problems with the Internet; lack of electronic educational content; low digital literacy.

Based on the general education Federal state standard requirements in foreign languages, English is the main primary school subject in Russia. In the conditions of blended learning, it is necessary to introduce interactive teaching methods not only offline but also online.

WebQuest is an innovative pedagogical technology in teaching English, a teaching tool, and a means of controlling students' knowledge.

The article describes the author's educational WebQuest model on the Genially platform for 3rd-grade students and their parents. WebQuest as control of knowledge on the passed topics is carried out on the films "Harry Potter."

The author defines the features of primary school students' psychological and speech readiness in learning English during the WebQuest preparation and conduct; identifies the pedagogical conditions for an English teacher's practical work in a classroom and distance form; identifies game-based teaching methods during the WebQuest.

This study aims to identify the specifics and effectiveness of using interactive WebQuest technology in primary school English lessons.

The study was conducted based on the "Speed Reading School IQ007". The experiment involved ten students and 12 parents. As a result of the WebQuest, students demonstrated their knowledge of oral and writing speech, learned to express their opinions in English, independently search for the necessary information on the Internet, and make non-standard, creative decisions. Parents and children have mastered digital skills and increased motivation to learn English.
