Abstract:
The article is devoted to the experience of online training on a mass scale in the higher school of Kazakhstan that suddenly happened due to the pandemic associated with coronavirus. Based on the principles of the modern theory of creative pedagogy, taking into account domestic and international research in the field, the paper provides an explanation of the need to develop students' creativity in the classroom and outside the university as a premise of keeping students engaged. The purpose of the article was to describe the experience and practice of the teaching staff of the university in online training. To achieve this goal, individual cases have been studied; the pedagogical and technical factors of success and failure have been defined; lessons of online teaching and learning have been identified. Major findings of analysis confirmed the hypothesis of the importance of teachers' focus on development an atmosphere of creativity during online learning along with digital infrastructure of university as one of the successes in extreme conditions of quarantine and self-isolation. In addition, because of heuristic techniques and methods usage, the possibilities of students' interest in mastering the subject and involvement into the lesson were determined. The influence of the psychological factor, the importance of the culture of online communication, and time management skill in an abnormal context have been proven.
