Abstract:
Educational robots have become powerful tools that greatly improve student learning at all levels, from elementary and high school to first-year college courses. Hands-on work with robots allows students to actively learn math and science, deepening their understanding of complex concepts. Research shows that incorporating educational robotics into the curriculum can significantly increase student engagement and motivation, spark curiosity, and encourage critical thinking. This effective method not only enriches the learning environment but also prepares students for a future where technology will play an even greater role in education and beyond.
This paper builds on existing research to explore different ways of integrating robotics into the curriculum. It highlights how adding robotics can transform classroom learning, shifting from traditional exercises to project-based activities. Additionally, the paper discusses how working with robotics can promote collaboration and teamwork among students.
The following questions are addressed:
- To what extent do educational robots engage students in learning math and science?
- How can working with educational robots help develop problem-solving skills?
This paper also includes examples of robots used in our program and others to demonstrate the benefits and effectiveness of educational robots in improving student learning. Keywords:
