Abstract:
In modern professional relations ethics has come to the attention of both the business community and researchers. This is because ethical behaviour has become an integral part of modern management, both in the functioning of the internal environment and in external relations and interactions. That is why courses in professional ethics, etiquette and ethical behavior are being included in the curriculum of the majority of educational institutions.

The article considers professional ethics from a scientific and practical point of view.We analyze the development of moral and ethical values from the ancient times till the present. The bibliographic review is conducted in order to trace the range of approaches to study the ethics and morality in business environment of certain historic periods and societies.

In the article we underline the importance of training future leaders in moral values. The culture of leadership and teamwork based on ethical behaviour has a significant impact on the performance of the organization, the whole team and its individual structures.

We propose case study of ethical dilemmas and development of typical behavioural patterns on the basis of the analyses of Social Charter of Russian Business and different existing ethic codes to be the key methods of study of professional ethics and behaviour.

Special attention is given to the study of international etiquette as an effective means of interaction with foreign business partners. The comparative analyses of western and eastern peculiarities of professional ethics and behavior gives the opportunity to show students the difference in cultural identities and importance of taking them into account in the conduct of international affairs.

In conclusion we outline possible difficulties and give recommendations on teaching future managers and civil servants in professional ethical behavior both with colleagues or partners and in interaction with the external environment.
