Abstract:
Presentations are essential for academic, research and educational environments. They are integral parts of conference and meeting reporting. Presentations are important for realization of new ideas, submitting new approaches, showing the research data, stating new theories. Presentations are made by schoolchildren, students and specialists. However, very often they are made in accordance with the individual’s intuition as the appropriate skills of making presentations have not been trained either properly or at all.

The paper concentrates on the tasks and assignments to develop skills of making visual and verbal presentations. The efficiency of the assignments has been examined and proved experimentally when training students of Law Institute at Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia and Summer School for lawyers-to-be at Paris-Lodron University in Salzburg (Austria). The students’ opinions on the issue have been studied
