Abstract:
The new interdisciplinary subject TaD cover different themes like mechanisms and control, construction, electricity and electronics, design, … TaD include skills like drawing/construction (pencil, 3D, ICT-drawing) and building models, building electric/electronic circuits, soldering, machine processing … as well as getting to know different materials, specially plastics and concrete.
Former curricula were written by committees appointed by the Ministry of Education, which gave principles and guidelines to follow for the committees in each core subject - from top to bottom. So was also our new curriculum however with one exception: The topic technology and design – it all started at the bottom.
