Abstract:
The construction of a modern pedagogical process, ensuring adaptation of students to modern conditions, self-realization and disclosure of the creative potential of the individual require the development and implementation of new approaches in education.

During 2013-2016 the academic staff of The Department of Educational Technology and Information Systems in Philology of Leo Tolstoy Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication (Kazan Federal University) had developed and implemented the Master of education program "Information Technologies in Philology and Education". The main feature of the program is its interdisciplinary.

In this article we tried to highlight the role of bilingual education by means of native (Russian) and foreign (English) languages. The use of English along with the Russian as a means of teaching within Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) subject area, enriches students with knowledge and skills in the subject area, improves understanding of the content of the academic discipline, engages in cognitive activity, enhances interaction during communication, develops the necessary language skills in conditions of multicultural interaction. So, students develop not only competences in the field of fundamental philological education, but form modern information technologies usage competences for their professional activities.

The article deals with theoretical aspects and results of experiment of teaching of the discipline "Formation of linguistic and information competence in the process of bilingual education" using CLIL. Thus, while learning this discipline students solve professional tasks that lead to the enrichment of their professional experience.
