Abstract:
People can be stressed about many events or activities in their lives, including schooling. The aim of the present study is to identify the stress levels of high school students and to present some techniques for dealing with stress. In the theoretical part of the paper, we will address concepts such as stress, stressors, and present the best-known methods for dealing with stress. In the theoretical part, we briefly address the most important characteristics of Generation Z, as our research was conducted among high school students belonging to this generation. We used the online questionnaire as a research method. Our questionnaires were emailed to high school students. In the survey, we looked at what stressors were most present in high school and compared the levels of stress students had before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. After presenting our results, we make suggestions on the topic under study that could be useful for high school students, teachers, and school psychologists alike.
