Abstract:
In the paper we present the practical experience of using the e-learning environment, electronic study texts, but primarily effective use of digital learning objects (DLO) especially interactive animations. DLOs have not only very high educational potential in a variety of scientific disciplines, for instance in the field of science or technology, they also develop and operate in other fields, e.g. in the area of student communication or their motivation for further self-education.

Based on the experience of the written and oral exams over the last ten years, we have identified topics and key mathematical concepts that students of primary school mathematics have had considerable problems with. In this article we will introduce selected interactive animation that we have created to facilitate understanding of identified difficult algebraic concepts and which find their place in individual preparation of students or directly in teaching.
