Abstract:
The article provides material for investigating the phenomena of viability, lifestyle taking into account the different levels of sovereignty of the personal space in early adolescence. The analysis of psychological concepts of life style (defense mechanisms), resilience, which help the individual to maintain the stability of self-esteem, ideas about themselves and the world. These phenomena play the role of a “buffer”, trying to prevent strong negative emotions, disappointments and threats to life close to consciousness, prevent the blurring of the boundaries of psychological and personal space. By studying the phenomenon of personal space in early adolescence, we can help a young person consciously make the choice of a profession, the future life partner, and build an adequate relationship with society. The empirical part of the article presents the data obtained as a result of the application of modern diagnostic methods adapted by D.A. Leontiev and developed by S.K. Nartova-Bochaver
