Abstract:
This paper describes the processes involved in the development and submission of End of Degree Projects (EDP) in students in the Technical Superior School of Design Engineering (ETSID) of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), especially students who has completed the second cycle of Organization Engineering. The procedure includes several stages:

1. Determining the title, make a summary of the work involved including the subject of the project and the correspondig index. Finally, in this step, inform the student of the rules in its manufacture (format, citations, etc.).

2. Preparation and individualized tutoring during the performance of Final Proyect.

3. Oral exposure preparation, assessed by rubrics by director or directors of EDP.

4. Oral exposure of PFC before the tribunal appointed by the ETSID.

The authors of this paper, have made a comparative study between different teachers who have followed this procedure and the results, with respect to a small group of teacher who have not followed that procedure.

The End of Degree Project is the first work that students complete and perfoms alone, and it will serve as a bridge from the university to a professional future. Many students in this process feel a lack of guidance, and the authors of this study found, that many times the director is the difference, between a project and a good project, and that this final learning will mark the student. The multidisciplinary learning built by students is identified as the strengh of the methodology.
