Abstract:

The article is devoted to one of the actual methodological problems – the creation of a methodological complex for teaching a foreign language for special purposes in order to enhance the quality of vocational training.
The purpose of the educational and methodical complex is to improve the efficiency and quality of teaching a foreign language for special purposes in the system of higher professional education. The article presents a methodological complex on the Russian language as a foreign language, providing the formation of foreign students' communicative competence in the educational and professional sphere of communication in the volume of level B1. This complex is developed by specialists in the field of teaching methods of Russian as a foreign language of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University of Peter the Great and includes textbooks, auditory, computer and control and measurement materials. The article substantiates the need to create a training complex and describes the content of its components.
The effectiveness of the developed professionally oriented educational and methodical complex is confirmed by the practice of using this complex in the process of language training of foreign students in St. Petersburg Polytechnic University of Peter the Great, as well as in other universities of the Russian Federation and foreign partner universities.
