FORMATION OF COMPETENCES IN THE FIELD OF INTERNATIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE HUMAN CAPITAL

Abstract:
International cooperation is an essential part of the activities of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN-university). This activity aims to improve the position of RUDN-university in higher education in Russia and its integration into the world educational community, as well as scientific research and development. This work is carried out in the framework of cooperation programs with leading foreign universities and international organizations in Asia, Africa, Europe, the USA, and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

One of the key areas of inter-university cooperation is the development and implementation of joint programs to provide students learning in foreign universities and obtaining double diplomas. During the implementation of inter-university cooperation, the international master's program “International Project Management” (in particular, the CNAM-IIM the double diploma program, in Paris, France) was developed and introduced into the educational process of the Economic Faculty of RUDN University. The main goal of this project is to improve the quality of specialists in the field of international project management, the development of joint scientific and educational programs and projects with foreign universities.

In the course of the research carried out within the framework of the project at the Department of Economic and Mathematical Modeling of the Economic Faculty of RUDN University, eight of the most necessary special courses were developed for the international master's program “International Project Management”. These courses were successfully introduced into the educational process: project management; project analysis; analysis and forecasting of market conditions (project marketing); project risk management; management information systems; contract management; strategic management: principles, information technology (IT) and best practices; Corporate finance: principles and IT.

During the education process masters will receive sustainable skills and acquire the necessary competencies for their further successful work in modern enterprises. Thus increasing the human capital of the enterprise, and consequently improve its competitiveness.
