Abstract:
For the second year in a row, the COVID - 19 pandemic has spread worldwide. After hard lockdowns, which also hit universities, university students in Slovakia returned to full-time education in the academic year 20120/21. According to the guidelines adopted by the UKF management, teaching is carried out at the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra according to the recommendations of the Regional Office of Public Health. The number of full-time attendees is limited to 20, and everyone is required to wear an FFP2 respirator and keep appropriate distances. Personal well-being needed for mental work in lectures and seminars is affected by wearing respirators. The authors of the article therefore decided to conduct a survey among the participants. As part of this survey, they measured the content of carbon dioxide in selected classrooms, where they were taught, and at the same time measured the saturation (oxygenation) of blood and heart rate in students at the beginning and end of contact hours using an oximeter. In addition to these objective data, they also collected subjective opinions on job well-being from the respondents using a questionnaire. The paper presents the measured CO2 values in the classroom, blood saturation, heart rate and respondents' opinions. The paper compares the values of saturation with the personal feelings of the survey participants. The measured values are processed using descriptive statistics and correlation coefficients.
