Abstract:
Entrepreneurship education is no longer a new term but it is still understood and applied differently. In the EU, entrepreneurship is recognized as one of the core competencies for lifelong learning. Therefore in promoting and applying it in the educational environment EU has developed a competence framework - EntreComp (1). This was intended to be a tool to " improve the entrepreneurial capacity of European citizens and organizations". Still, we need to define is is what are the entrepreneurship teachers (2), how are they educated (4) and how are they promoting entrepreneurship competencies in their students. Another question is who is the main organizer and promoter of the education that develops students' entrepreneurship competencies. In the Croatian educational setting, there is an entrepreneurship curriculum (3) as a general topic to be thought at primary and secondary school. The author proposes that the school librarians need to be actively involved in promoting and organizing these activities. The argument is that the school librarian's role in the school setting is being an instruction leader and as such he is the logical choice. Still, in order to do so, we need a systematic approach and changes in the education of school librarians. Therefore, deeper research of this issue is necessary and present research poses as the first step.

Methodology:
Research on the published literature presents the theoretical background for defining the entrepreneurship teacher. The second part is based on researching students' perceptions of entrepreneurship activities in their school settings. Interviews with the part-time graduate students of librarianship. Investigating their perceptions of entrepreneurial competencies in their work environment presents a starting point giving insight into the current situation as well as directions for future research and practical implementation.

Results:
The results show that there are scarce examples of entrepreneurship activities in the school environment mainly focusing on a couple of types of activities. What is needed is a broader view and understanding of different ways to organize education for the development of entrepreneurship competencies. Still, we need educated teachers and school librarians thus needing a systematic approach to the problem that includes all levels of education. The first step is the change in the librarians' and teachers' education. To be more precise, to integrate more generic and transferrable competencies so they can be future professionals that will develop these competencies in their pupils.
