Abstract:
We have been experiencing a new reality in Europe and Poland since March 2020 which is associated with the coronavirus pandemic. This situation sets a number of new challenges for the individual, groups and entire communities. These challenges apply to all dimensions of human functioning, including education. Many areas related to daily habits and activities began to change; new requirements emerged and are related to quality of life. One of them is free time and forms of spending it. The purpose of the research was to analyze students' behaviors during leisure before and during the pandemic. The research questions concerned the budget for free time, ways of spending it before and during the pandemic, and the possibilities of modifying it, taking into account the threats arising from the pandemic in the future. Research was conducted on a group of students of pedagogy and social work studies.

For this purpose, we used an opinion poll method, survey technique and questionnaire analysis.

In the article we present research findings related to students' leisure time activities, including that difficult period of time.
