Abstract:
The article is focused on the practical application of the model within the teaching of operational analysis at the Faculty of Security Engineering, University of Zilina. Innovative pedagogical methods allow students to analyze a practical problem, then choose or propose a correct mathematical model of a decision-making problem, apply a calculation procedure and correctly interpret the obtained results. The content of the article consists of selected methods of operational analysis and their practical applications. The goal is to strengthen the students' understanding of the given models, to develop their critical thinking and analytical skills. The article emphasizes the importance of connecting theoretical knowledge with practical experience. In this context, modern programs and simulations are emphasized, which offer a wide range of possibilities for a deeper understanding of the issue and its complex analysis. Acquired knowledge and skills in the field of operational analysis are perceived as a valuable asset for a wide range of professions. Graduates with the given competencies are able to effectively engage in practice and successfully solve problems in various fields.
