Abstract:
The reality of using the Virtual classroom and the requirements of its using in learning mathematics at the Saudi universities, from the specialized & teaching staff members point of view.
The purposes of this study were:
Knowing the essence of the Virtual classroom.
Determining the requirements of using the Virtual classroom in learning mathematics (Technology, organizational human beings, educational, preparing & training of teaching staff members).
Knowing the degree of the plenty of the requirements of using the Virtual classroom in learning mathematics.
Knowing the degree of using the requirements of using the Virtual classroom in learning mathematics.
Knowing the differences between the responses of the sample of the study, which related to (Sex, major, experience).
In order to achieve the aims of the study, the researcher used the descriptive method. She designed her means, which was a questionnaire, in which she handled four axes. She applied it on a sample consisted of (151) from the specialized & teaching staff members in the Saudi universities at the western region, (116) from this sample are males & (35) are females. The researcher made trust from its validity & reliability by using Alpha Cornpach factor. In order to obtain the results of the study, the researcher used the statistical packages of social sciences (SPSS), like repetitions, percentages & T-test.
The research came to the following results:
1-The degree of the plenty of the requirements (Technology-Organizational human beings) was low, where the general arithmetic average of the technology requirements was (1.50) & for the organizational human requirements was (1.47). While on the contrary the degree of the plenty of the requirements (Educational - preparing & training of teaching staff members) were moderate. The general arithmetic average of the educational requirements was (1.72) & for the requirements of preparing and training of teaching staff members was (2.13).
2- The degree of using the requirements of (Technology-Organizational human beings- educational) was low, where the general arithmetic average of the technology requirements was (1.57) , for the organizational human requirements was (1.23) & for the educational requirements was (1.54). While on the contrary the degree of using the requirements of (preparing & training of teaching staff members) was moderate. The general arithmetic average of was (2.05)
3-There were not any statistical differences at the level of (0.05 ≥α )among the averages of the responses of the study sample at (Umm Al-Qura university –King Abdul Aziz university) concerning the abundance degree the requirements of (Technology-Organizational human beings-Educational) & in Tiaf university concerning the abundance degree of (Technology-Organizational human beings-Educational- Preparing & training of teaching staff members). This is due to the variable of sex. On the other hand, there were statistical differences at the same level among their responses concerning the abundance of the requirements of (Preparing & training of teaching staff members) in the universities of (Umm Al-Qura & King Abdul Aziz) for the sake of the males.
