Abstract:
UAV area confirms of the concepts, materials and technologies at the state of maturity obviously causing STEM approaches that can produce values, competencies and skills for future users since high school. Transdisciplinary approaches with numerous practical applications of general aspects of the field to the specific lead to the establishment of complex connections between the areas underlying the use of vehicles unmanned (aerodynamic and mechanical flight, construction and operation of aircraft, computer science and programming, electrical and electronics, aviation legislation and regulations).

This course is developed under the frame of MASIM project, Multi-Agent Aerial System with Portable Ground Station for Information Management. The objectives of an UAV optional course are related to the developing of thinking inter- and transdisciplinary leveraged effect in preparing students and raising awareness of all competition mentioned above, using a UAV calls for a personal development simultaneously both on the technical core as well as areas related support. The course would use innovative STEM educational concepts with mixed groups of students on common teaching and learning applications depending on the purpose proposed (real vs humanistic).
