Abstract:
The project management methodologies present important tools for progressive and innovative education. The topic which was once typical for project managers, is implemented in the educational process at present time. There are several reasons for these challenges. As a part of the educational process requirements for training in the practical field are constantly growing. In addition, industry requires ability to implement theoretical knowledge in practice from graduates as well as the creation of products and services that bring added value to customers and to customer organizations too. An implementation of project management methodology approach is presented - the way how it is possible to implement practice-oriented education aimed for creation of products and services. In our contribution we present practical experiences in the use of project management methodology PRINCE2TM aimed for the development or IT services and products. The entire experiment was conducted during two years on a sample of 400 students of master level. Using this approach, it is possible to demonstrate the synergy of the expertise. In addition to expertise, students got the knowledge related to the project approach as well as knowledge of soft skills for managerial practice.
