Abstract:
The changes taking place in modern society (alienation, Internet addiction, self-destructive behavior, the growth of prostitution, drug addiction, alcoholism, the destruction of the institution of the family) have led to a new formulation of the question of the professional competencies of the future specialist-teacher. The teacher is entrusted with the task of identifying children at risk and productive work with them. The most vulnerable children under certain social circumstances or environmental influences are at risk. Children of risk groups have a psychophysiological and social predisposition to the influence of negative environmental factors on them, leading to personality maladjustment.
Students of a pedagogical university, future teachers, need to form a number of competencies that will help them solve the difficult task of identifying children at risk and working with them. The teacher must be able to work with students with developmental problems, as well as with deviant, dependent, socially neglected and socially vulnerable students with behavioral deviations. To identify children at risk in the arsenal of a teacher, there is information about markers of their recognition. But this is not enough. A teacher working with such children must have certain competencies. Professional competence is the ability to successfully act on the basis of practical experience, skills and knowledge in solving professional problems. The significant competencies for solving these issues are: socio-psychological, professional-communicative, general pedagogical, managerial, reflexive competences.
The purpose of working with children at risk is the formation of a positive communication experience, the formation of group norms of communication, the development and correction of the emotional cognitive sphere of children, assistance in understanding their feelings, an adequate response to this, the formation of skills in analysis, assessment, resolution of life situations, teaching skills to be responsible for their actions and words, familiarization with the rights and responsibilities of an adult, creating a positive attitude towards the world and society. It is necessary to understand the child and help him in a difficult situation, to accept him as he is.
In the course of writing the article, the following tasks were solved: the definitions of the concepts of children of risk groups, the professional competence of the teacher were analyzed in order to identify aspects of their consideration in the scientific and methodological literature; identified the components that include these concepts, the distinctive characteristics of the concepts.
Scientific, methodological and reference literature became the material for the analysis of concepts. In the course of work on the problem, the following methods and techniques were used: descriptive, distributive, interpretive, analysis of theoretical material.
