Abstract:
High-quality of teaching requires the use of effective technologies. This problem ahs gained special significance in the current situation when the quality of student learning is especially relevant during the covid period. The coronavirus pandemic has made significant changes in teaching technology in the higher education system. In connection with the transition to distance learning, the assessment of opportunities, prospects, clarification of the problems of such training was carried out. Universities faced the need to choose an effective teaching technology, that is, teaching structure with a sequence of actions and predetermining the planned result, which would help the student learn to connect disparate facts into a single whole, systematize the available information, and independently study the material.
The article is aimed at solving the following tasks: the definitions of the concept of teaching technology or pedagogical technology were analyzed in order to identify aspects of its consideration in scientific and methodological literature; the requirements, conditions, methods of using distance technology in the process of teaching disciplines to students are determined as a guarantee of the effectiveness of training; the features of using distance learning models (passive, active and interactive) are considered.
Scientific, methodological and reference literature became the material for the analysis of the concept. The methods applied are: analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, generalization, formalization and classification.
Theoretical and practical significance of study lies in the description of distance learning technology from the standpoint of its educational potential. In the course of studying the issue, the following conclusions were formulated:
1) during a pandemic of coronavirus infection, the most effective methods of teaching students are needed, in particular, information and communication technologies, involving the use of various sources to obtain information, the readiness of students for self-education, implemented in conditions of distance education;
2) the readiness of the majority of students to study remotely using information and communication technologies was noted, however, we note that some of the students are not interested in online learning, as they are used to constant monitoring and are not used to independence;
3) the conditions for the effective implementation of distance learning are consistency, inclusiveness, adapted work programs, modern equipment, a unified electronic educational environment, a highly qualified student and teaching staff;
4) electronic presentations, multimedia teaching aids, videoconferences, demonstration of scientific and popular science films, electronic educational resources, educational programs, etc. - a resource for use in the process of distance learning.Keywords:
