Abstract:
The paper aims to analyze the perspective of parents in terms of promoting moral values in the family and kindergarten. Starting from the idea that the moral values of the child are formed through the experiences acquired from both environments, we started from the hypothesis that the family also has a very important role in determining them. Among the values selected in our research were: responsibility, gratitude, generosity, discipline, tolerance, equality, friendship, freedom, justice and politeness. Given these values, a broader survey asked several questions about the importance of each value in the child's education at home and in kindergarten. Thus, regarding the family, the question was first asked “How important do your family consider the following values to be in the child's education?”, with the following scale associated:
1. Very important,
2. Important,
3. Not at all important,
4. I don't know / I don't answer.

The question followed: "Given that you do not have time for everything, what are the three most important values you deal with?". Regarding kindergarten, the parents also received the following question in the survey: "How much attention do you think the kindergarten should pay to the formation of the following values in your child?" The proposed measurement scale was: 1. Very much, 2. Much, 3. Not at all, 4. I don't know / I don't answer. The thematic questions were followed by this question: "Given that there is no time for everything, what are the three most important values that the educator must deal with?". Following the data processing, two hierarchies of the proposed values were obtained (a family hierarchy and a hierarchy expected from educators) as well as the first three values promoted by the family or priority for educators, in the conditions of the time crisis.
