Abstract:
The presence of mobile devices in the classrooms are increasingly growing, but its use for education is still too slow. Many times the teacher does not know how to deal with so many smartphones and applications connected to a huge and attractive network.

In contrast, the student is accustomed to finding technology in their day-to-day, but is frustrated when they do not see it in the classroom. The use of digital tools as smartphones, tablets and most varied applications can and should be part of the classroom providing a more attractive and entertaining education.

This paper presents the results of tablet use in the classroom and how to make effective this technology to the teaching and learning process, considering the regional context. For this, it was implemented classrooms smart, in the Amazon region, in which each classroom was equipped with a Smart Tv and forty Tablets connected to a Wi-Fi environment. The teachers were trained to use the technology and the methodology used in the classroom has been evaluated and adapted for use of mobile devices.

This research was applied in 2015, in twenty classrooms with an average of 35 students per class. More than 160 teachers were trained and the disciplines that the technology was most uses were: Portuguese, mathematics and science.
