Abstract:
The educational process at primary and secondary schools is oriented to the fulfilment of educational goals, one of which is oriented to the preparation of pupils for their application in practical, real life. The aim is that every graduate should have the same opportunity to integrate into the work process. The fulfilment of this objective is achieved in the teaching process by innovation of traditional teaching methods and organisational forms, or by the application of modern concepts in teaching. In this process, technical education creates suitable prerequisites, which in primary school is shaped by a comprehensive system of knowledge. It is mainly about developing the ability to analyze and solve technical problems, adopt technical terminology, skills and abilities, master technical means and computing, along with shaping the right habits in relation to the working environment, health protection, safe and hygienic behavior in life. The contribution solves the issue of the follow-up of technical education of primary school pupils and their technical readiness for continuing education in secondary schools of technical focus. The main objective of the research carried out was to determine the factors of differentiated perception of the follow-up of technical education in primary and secondary schools among secondary vocational school teachers. The subject of the examination was to define the level of preparation of primary school pupils within the subject of technology following further study at secondary vocational schools from the point of view of secondary vocational school teachers. The contribution shall described the methods of research used, statistical evaluations of the measured data and discussion of the results obtained. The validity of the examined issue is confirmed by formulated conclusions and recommendations for pedagogical practice.
