Abstract:
In recent years the efforts in the educational field converge in a quality problem, that is why education, professional formation, academic formation and updating issues are part of a permanent process in life within the National university and they get converted in fundamental pillars of the political, social, economical and technological reforms that the Mexican society should face in the 21st century.
The Higher Education Institutions and especially the public Universities play a very important role in the formation of human resources that should be able to compete at a national and international level, to apply the best available technologies, to generate job sources, to be engaged with the environment and to be able to face the challenges of life with an enterprising and creative spirit. Counting on a better quality education is a demand for nowadays society, a requirement from the demanding world in which we are immerged, which has created the necessity of having a more efficient work, and for this more preparation is required. The impulse given to the quality in higher education is considerably recent, that is why in the present work we try to show the importance of quality in the integral formation of the students from the Faculty of Superior Studies of the National Autonomous Mexican University (FESC – UNAM).
