Abstract:
It is remarkable when the countries which have the best education systems are analyzed; they are also the most developed countries in the world. The education system are not only affected by the level of development but also affected by social and economic factors. For instance, it is a fact that German vocational education system at high school level is very good. Because of that, the German model of vocational education system is a model for Turkish vocational education system. However; the success achieved in Germany are not attained in Turkey. Social factors, economic conditions and attitude of people hinder to apply Germen vocational education system in Turkey successfully. This circumstance brings to mind that “It is the socioeconomic factors that reduce the quality of education, or as a result of low education quality undesirable socioeconomic factors come in sight”. At this study it is aimed to analyze the answers of these questions.

At this study, the relationship between a country’s economy and education system is discussed. The method of literature research is used at the study. The objective is to investigate the economic factors influencing the level of success at education.
