The communication boosted collaborative and participatory principles. The use of Web 2.0 occurs in two main areas: the teaching of information literacy that is, developing the ability to transform information into knowledge; and the promotion of transversality of knowledge, innovation and managing change. The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) refers to forms of technologies that are used to transmit, process, store, create, view, share or exchange information electronically. Systems include not only computer but also cell phones, laptops, smartphones, netbooks, tablets, digital newspapers, etc. Millions of applications that are used in different areas such as health, administration, justice, education, and all these technologies are part of this component. It must be known how these new technologies impact on education, and is also important to investigate the technological resources used by teachers of higher education in the classroom. And so, the role of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) is to enable informed choice in the matter of those tools, and to support them and their effective deployment. Keywords:
