Abstract:

Sustainable & Multi-direction development is part of all governments strategic planning, and this has been constantly carrying the load of giving direction to the societies involved. Today the most important Role in development of any society is played by the information technology & communication, in many important ways. One of them is sustainable development in information technology & communication in order to extend financial services, utilizing the post & communication infrastructures. By realizing these voids & understanding the obvious needs of people, the post bank of Iran in order to cover the a/m voids in financial services left by commercial bank started its operations on the year 1995.The most important point in this article which has been written, by utilizing the library & documentation methods, is that the post bank of Iran is playing an important role in the cities & rural areas, introducing ICT offices which is one the obvious functions & essential services rendered by this bank, that during the 4th year, a development plan has been established. The challenges & hardships which this bank has been facing will be noted in the article.
