Abstract:

Modern education in the field of media and communication sciences gives serious theoretical training to students in various specialties. Expanding the practical aspects of education is essential for the harmonious development of students' communication skills. Technological advances in recent decades have led to the creation of new and diverse forms of communication, as well as new learning opportunities. Conducting extended practical classes on the creation of various media products - articles, short films, podcasts, commercials, as well as participation in interviews, discussions, press conferences, presentations, not only introduces students to the way the media works, but also creates the necessary connection between the studied communication theories and their practical application. The analysis of the content created by the students allows the selection of appropriate accents in the learning process, which contribute to the balanced development of their communication competencies.
