Abstract:
This communication discusses the differences observed in the profiles of creativity of 461 university students from various careers such as Teacher Training, Advertising, Fine Arts, Pedagogy and Social Education. Analyses reveal significant differences in all the measures considered: narrative creativity, graphic creativity and overall creativity. Significant differences were found between students of advertising and social education (both equally creative) and all other groups, specifically in verbal creativity. In graphic creativity features, as you would expect, the fine arts group was significantly more creative than teaching training and social education groups. Finally, in general creativity, advertising and social education students obtained again significantly higher scores than those of the rest of the groups. Creativity profiles characteristic of each of these career options were obtained, noting major differences in the different variables (fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration and special details) that make up the profile of creativity.
