Abstract:
It is increasingly common to find an academic work in which the student does not make a novel contribution, but rather collects bibliography, quotes or paraphrases content to form a theoretical framework. Often the student does not have enough knowledge learned in university studies to carry out research. In this proposal, the objective is to present effective methodological strategies to promote the scientific method in the student. The methodology of this paper will be analytical and descriptive, and it will be possible to determine what are the strategies that the teacher or director of academic work can develop to achieve works that present a novel contribution, made with a scientific criterion. One of the main aspects in which the execution of a work should be improved is in the planning of the content, the strategies for searching for information, and, above all, encouraging the writing of short texts that synthesize several readings, which are then exhibited in public. Improving writing processes is key to getting jobs with a scientific criterion and not just an informative one. The aim is to propose various strategies and methods so that the student is aware of the need to learn to organise thoughts and ideas before proceeding to write. If it is possible to delve into techniques such as synthesis, the use of AI as a resource that favours the orientation of content, as well as the creation of concept maps, among other strategies. With this practice, students can become more creative and, above all, more confident in academic writing.
