Abstract:
According to many researchers in EFL teaching, motivation has an important role in language learning. In order to provide a classroom atmosphere that helps students to be more motivated, teachers use numerous methods and techniques.There is no doubt that use of technology has been one of the most widespread techniques that language teachers use.Technology is not only used for skill-based courses, but also for the other courses such as grammar.The purpose of this study is to reveal perceptions of students towards use of technology and to find out how technology affects their motivation in grammar courses.
For the study,students attending Anadolu University, Preparatory Classes were given a questionnaire that aims to determine their attitudes towards use of technology in grammar classes. Students from different levels participated in this research. In the poster,the findings based on the relation between use of technology and motivation will be presented.
