Abstract:
One of the efficient ways of developing professional and English language skills of students is using up-to-date additional material. The presenters will discuss the efficiency of using a special teaching aid “Customer-driven marketing. Reading” in classes of English for special purposes (ESP) for students specializing in Economics and Management at one of the top universities in Russia – Kazan Federal University.

Firstly, they will dwell on the content of the teaching aid consisting of 8 modules and business terms dictionary, and speak about the sources the appropriate texts were taken from. Secondly, they will illustrate the efficiency of using the teaching aid on the whole, and different types of exercises for the purposes of boosting the students’ motivation which in its turn results in developed language skills. Thirdly, they will share the results of their research with regard to choosing the best additional material and finding the best ways of presenting them in the classroom.
