THE INFLUENCE OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVE AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Abstract:
Over the past decades organizational culture was explored in numerous studies; organizational culture is in the focus of attention of management theorists, without indication that some significant changes will occur on this issue in the coming years, due to increasing importance of adaptation to changes in the market, and changes in society in general, which is again a result of rapid technology development, but also many social factors that form the current “globalization paradigm”; the practice is interested in organizational culture with no less attention than the theory.
However, the study of organizational culture still has a lot of concerns, ranging from problems that occur at it’s defining; also - many correlations between organizational culture and behavior of members of the organization has yet to be examined and set.
On the other hand, globally dominant “economy of achievement” range achievement motive as one of the most explored motives; its value can greatly affect the operation of each individual, and the authors are primarily interested in influence it can have on achievement of managers. The achievement motive can be, to a greater or lesser extent, developed throughout life. All of the above stated orientate authors of this paper to deal with the study of organizational culture and the achievement motive, and to conduct their research among students of the Faculty of Management.
The problem of the research we present in the form of questions: is there influence of the dominantly present organizational culture on the development of the achievement motive of students of the Faculty of Management? The subject of this research is the relation between the dominantly present organizational culture and the achievement motive of students of the Faculty of Management; general objective of this paper is study of the impact of dominantly present organizational culture on the development of the achievement motive among students of the Faculty of Management.
The results imply that there has been development of students' achievement motive, but can not claim that the existence of a strong organizational culture was a key task factor for the development of this motive among studied students of the Faculty of Management.Keywords:
