Abstract:
How to make a way from a plane consumer of a media information to its creator; how to teach the media student to form an information both technically and technologically, and to be, at the same time, the subject of communicative practice, conscious, alert and active factor in shaping the content of a media. Students are thought to all the items mentioned above through theory and practice, while working at the internal television at Faculty of Management in Novi Sad
For future managers in media, the term media literacy is much wider- it is a complete introducing with the technology, organizational structure and the way of work of media production, as well as qualifying for self- education for working with the new technologies, in the new environment as well as new occupations. “Creativity, adaptability and flexibility will be imperative characteristics that educational system must develop within every individual”

For this purpose, Faculty of Management in Novi Sad has formed a television studio, with audio and video mixer, camera chain, and two non-linear assemblies, and the program is distributed through the internal system of monitors.

Program is produced by students’ teams, within the practice classes at the subject “Communicating”, at the second year of the studies of Management in Media. Their lecturers as well as Teaching Assistant work with them, the TA being the professional director with long television experience. Journalist’s feedback and expert advices students get from their teacher at the subject “Introduction to the media”, who is also an experienced television journalist.
In a production and broadcasting chain that is simplified to certain extent, the teams go through multi-skill training-from camera handling to the basic principles of film and TV mounting and work in a proper kind of software, work on audio and video mixer, composing and realization of parts as well as the whole of a daily half-an-hour program, all the way to the skill of public announcements and turning to public via TV.
