Abstract:
The implementation of the European Higher Education Area has introduced several changes in the teaching-learning process for both, teachers and students, particulary in the evaluation procedures. This work includes part of the results of a cross-project educational innovation in the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), named “Evalúa UPM”. The main objective of this project is to review and to analyze the current state of the evaluation procedures in the UPM in order to draw conclusions and to propose improvement estrategies. Thus, it has been analyzed the diversity of evaluable activities in the courses of bachelor and master degrees, the use of non-conventional procedures and the degree of differentiation of both final exam and continous evaluation systems, once consolidated the implementation of Bologna process.
An indicator set has been defined for each of the three items described above. The global values of these indicators in the bachelor and master degrees of UPM are shown and analyzed in this work.Keywords:
