Abstract:
Innovation and tutoring docent projects in higher education have been promoted from the University of Granada. The frame of work and proposals aim to fulfill the requirements and harmonize criteria for the European Higher Education Area and Bologna Process Implementation.

A team of professors of different disciplines from the Faculty of Pharmacy have been formed with specific docents tools through different courses. Moreover, the team has been enriched with the participation of professors from the Faculty of High Science Education. This interdisciplinary team has performed tutorial activities for the students of Pharmacy, Food Science and Technology and Human Dietetic and Nutrition Degrees since 2011. Several Tutorial Plan Action projects have been carried out with interesting and valuable results.

The evaluation of these projects has been very positive by different education parties as accredited entities in high education, the faculty committee and the students that have participated in the tutorial plans. Moreover, the University evaluation has allowed the continuation of these extracurricular activities during 5 years contributing with the funding of basic needs. The activities performed by the involved professors have required an extra timing work that does not have always a measurable correspondence with the real effort. Thus, these project experiences deserve a very high value, and the professors involved acknowledge the constructive input at the professional and personal level. The conclusion is the need to establish these types of activities within the appropriate frame of recognition of credits system that will help to improve the quality of transferable knowledge and valuable tutorization of the students in high education.
