Abstract:
As the new Bachelor Degrees of the Bologna Plan are implemented in the Technical School of Forest Engineers of Madrid, different courses belonging to the current curricula are going to dissapear gradually. For that reason, we have designed and developed a tutorial course to integrate the three subjects of the Department of Basic Operations, which are Instrumental Analysis, Basic Operations of Forest Industries and Chemistry of non-wood forest products, all of them to be extinguished by the entry into force of the Bologna curricula. The aim has been to develop support to facilitate self-study and self-evaluation of the subjects mentioned. The phases of the project are, for every subject, the selection of the core contents, the design of the tutorials on the subjects, the development of test and exercises of increasing difficulty, the presentation of reviews and exams of previous courses and the incorporation of the material to the Moodle platform. In the three subjects Moodle was used previously. This work makes a review of the process followed in order to develop the self study and self evaluation guides.
